Description
Textured brown that stays presentable
Dollaro brown reads as a working object rather than a soft one. The pebble grain is fine and regular, the colour is a mid, slightly reddish brown, and the two together give a surface that looks considered from the first day and does not drift far from it.
The grain is the functional part. On a smooth hide every knock is a visible line; on Dollaro the same knock lands between the pebbles and reads as texture. That makes it the hide to pick for a notebook that travels — in a rucksack, on a desk shared with a coffee cup, in and out of a bag several times a day.
It darkens slowly with handling, but it does not change character. What you unwrap is broadly what you will have in two years, minus a slight deepening at the spine.

The standard cover uses a modular elastic system and can carry two or three thin notebooks, depending on their thickness. If you need another layout, we can add extra holes and extra elastics before cutting.
The SLOWLINES logo is stamped in the finish you choose for your text: gold foil with gold, silver with silver, blind debossing with no foil on either. We do not mix the two.
Care
Natural leather changes with use
It may darken, soften, gain shine and develop small marks over time – this is part of its character.
To care for your cover, wipe it gently with a dry soft cloth. Avoid soaking, alcohol-based cleaners, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Let the leather age naturally, and use leather balm only when the surface feels dry.
Design
A clean, minimal cover designed for daily writing
Each cover uses a secure elastic system that lets you carry one notebook on the main elastic, with the option to add up to two extra slim notebooks using an additional elastic. This means one cover can hold up to three notebooks in total, depending on the thickness of your inserts.
The construction stays simple on purpose: clean lines, carefully finished edges and enough structure to protect your notebooks without making the cover feel bulky.
