Natural Ghost Wax Leather Trifold Cover

A trifold in undyed leather, which wears in from every side at once

Ghost Wax Natural from Conceria Walpier is undyed leather under a pale frosted wax. On a trifold you meet more of it: the wrap folds around the whole block, so the flap, the spine and the outer edge all pass through your hands every time the notebook is opened.

That changes the pace. On a plain cover the wax retreats from two or three places; here it goes from the fold line, the flap corner and the whole front, and the honey tone underneath arrives across the cover rather than in patches. If you want a piece that visibly belongs to you by the end of the first year, this is the fastest route we make.

The wax marks easily, and some covers ship with scratches already in that layer. It is the wax, not the leather. A scuff rubbed with a thumb blends back in, and every mark is on its way out anyway as the frost wears off.

The trifold also holds more. Several notebooks ride on the elastics at once, and we can cut extra holes to your count if you ask before we start.
