Green, in the one texture that lets it work

Green leather goes wrong easily — too bright and it looks synthetic, too flat and it looks like plastic. The pebble grain on Dollaro breaks the surface into small facets, so the colour reads as depth rather than as a coat of paint.

The shade is deep and slightly muted, closer to a forest green than to anything acidic, and against the warm cream of most notebook paper it is a good contrast. It stays where it started: no fading at the folds, no lightening at the corners.

The texture also earns its keep. Marks from keys and bag zips settle into the grain instead of scoring a line across the front, which on a coloured hide would be much more obvious than on a black one.

Pick a matching green elastic to keep it quiet, or something contrasting if you would rather it did not blend in.

The standard cover uses a modular elastic system and can carry two or three thin notebooks, depending on their thickness. If you need another layout, we can add extra holes and extra elastics before cutting.

The SLOWLINES logo is stamped in the finish you choose for your text: gold foil with gold, silver with silver, blind debossing with no foil on either. We do not mix the two.
