Orange Buttero Leather Trifold Cover

An orange trifold is a decision. It is the brightest hide we cut, wrapped around the whole notebook so that there is more of it visible than in any other construction, and closed it is a solid block of rust-orange on a desk.
What stops it being a novelty is the leather. Buttero is firm, close-grained and dyed through, so the colour deepens with age instead of fading, and the fold and spine take on a low shine where they are worked. A year old, the orange has gone rustier and the cover looks handled rather than new.
Underneath the colour it is the same protective object as the rest: flap over the fore-edge, block held flat, several notebooks on the elastics. Extra holes cut to your count on request.
The SLOWLINES logo is stamped in the finish you choose for your text: gold foil with gold, silver with silver, blind debossing with no foil on either. We do not mix the two.
It may darken, soften, gain shine and develop small marks over time – this is part of its character.
To care for your cover, wipe it gently with a dry soft cloth. Avoid soaking, alcohol-based cleaners, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Let the leather age naturally, and use leather balm only when the surface feels dry.
Each cover uses a secure elastic system that lets you carry one notebook on the main elastic, with the option to add up to two extra slim notebooks using an additional elastic. This means one cover can hold up to three notebooks in total, depending on the thickness of your inserts.
The construction stays simple on purpose: clean lines, carefully finished edges and enough structure to protect your notebooks without making the cover feel bulky.
