Rosa Antico Pueblo Leather Cover

The only soft colour we make

Rosa Antico is Badalassi Carlo's antique pink, and on this hide it lands closer to coral: a warm pink-orange on brushed Pueblo. Everything else in the range is dark, natural or saturated; this is the one colour in the drawer that is neither loud nor sober.

Pale colours on Pueblo behave differently from dark ones. The burnishing that moves a bordeaux by a shade takes coral much further, toward a dusty terracotta along the spine and the front corner. Within a season the cover is visibly two tones, and the split follows your hands.

It shows things in the meantime. If a mark on a pale cover would bother you, the same leather in bordeaux or black does the same job without the record-keeping.

2.0–2.2 mm, dyed through, no topcoat. Bifold: two panels, a modular elastic, two or three thin notebooks.

The notebook is held on an elastic cord running through the spine, so the block has to bend around the cord. That means softcover notebooks — Midori MD, Stalogy 018, Hobonichi Techo and Cousin, and most sewn softcover journals. Hardcover notebooks do not fit, whatever the outside measurements say.

The standard cover uses a modular elastic system and can carry two or three thin notebooks, depending on their thickness. If you need another layout, we can add extra holes and extra elastics before cutting.

Personalisation is free: up to 10 characters — initials, a name, a date or a short word — in gold foil, silver foil, or blind debossing with no foil at all. It is placed in the bottom right corner of the front panel, and the impression is permanent: it grows more visible as the leather around it darkens.

The SLOWLINES logo is stamped in the finish you choose for your text: gold foil with gold, silver with silver, blind debossing with no foil on either. We do not mix the two.
