Description

A wrap in the colour tan takes a year to reach

Whisky Buttero starts at a warm reddish-amber — approximately where an undyed hide arrives after twelve months of daily carrying. Choosing it is choosing to skip the waiting.

On a trifold that matters more than usual, because the fold, the flap corner and the spine are the places that would otherwise sit visibly ahead of the rest. Starting from a settled colour, those areas deepen and pick up a shine rather than shifting tone, so the cover stays even instead of going patchy through its first year.

It is also the light colour that survives a bag. Scratches darken into the surrounding amber rather than standing out pale against it, which is not true of camel or natural.

Firm at 2.2–2.4 mm; holds several notebooks on the elastics.

Care

Natural leather changes with use

It may darken, soften, gain shine and develop small marks over time – this is part of its character.

To care for your cover, wipe it gently with a dry soft cloth. Avoid soaking, alcohol-based cleaners, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Let the leather age naturally, and use leather balm only when the surface feels dry.
Design

A clean, minimal cover designed for daily writing

Each cover uses a secure elastic system that lets you carry one notebook on the main elastic, with the option to add up to two extra slim notebooks using an additional elastic. This means one cover can hold up to three notebooks in total, depending on the thickness of your inserts.

The construction stays simple on purpose: clean lines, carefully finished edges and enough structure to protect your notebooks without making the cover feel bulky.
